Ryan Berg is a Principal at Source Capital. He formerly was Principal at Eastside Partners where he sourced and led the execution of new investment opportunities across the healthcare, technology and technology-enabled services verticals. There, he provided strategic and operational support to Eastside’s portfolio companies, including Scripta.

 

Before joining Eastside, Ryan was a Principal at Arcspring, a middle-market private equity firm focused on leveraging technology to create differentiation across business services companies. Prior roles include Principal and board member at New Capital Partners, a middle-market private equity firm; Analyst in the Strategic Planning group at First Wind, a wind energy portfolio company of Madison Dearborn and DE Shaw; and Analyst in the Global Industrials Group of UBS Investment Bank.

 

Ryan earned an MBA from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia and a BS from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia.

Mindy Bradley (CPA/CFP/CPC/PMI) has been a practicing accountant and auditor in Savannah, Georgia for over 26 years.


She spent seventeen years as the Practice Administrator for BCG Medical Group, the leading private medical practice in Savannah. During that time, she saw first-hand the healthcare crisis being caused by ever-increasing out-of-pocket costs for patients. In 2008, Mindy co-founded Scripta in order to create data-driven transparency solutions to help payers, and patients make better decisions about prescription drugs—lowering costs and improving outcomes.


After earning a BSM from Tulane University, Mindy began her career with Touche, Ross, & Co. in Miami. She later served as an auditor for the firm of Deloitte, Haskins, & Sells in Atlanta, Georgia. In 1990, she co-authored “Practice Made Perfect,” which became required reading for medical residents nationwide. Mindy serves as Chief Product Officer for Scripta and is responsible for direction and oversight for the company’s Script.AI technology.

Emerson Fann founded Eastside Partners in 2005 and currently serves as the Managing Partner where he focuses on investment opportunities in healthcare and directs the firm's investment strategy.

 

Emerson has been a successful investor through two separate business cycles and over 100 investment transactions at Eastside. He also currently serves on the boards of Empirian and Curiteva.

​

Prior to Eastside, Emerson was a Partner at Southeastern Technology Fund where he joined as the first investment professional.  He earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance at The University of Alabama.

Bob Greene is a co-founder of Contour Venture Partners. He has invested in all stages of venture capital across several industry sectors. Contour invests in early stage companies focused on information technology and the application of technology into the financial services, enterprise SaaS and digital media sectors. Bob’s investments include BounceX, Covr, Dstillery, Fevo, Pathgather, Punchbowl, Radius Networks, Scripta, Simpli.fi, Slice, Source3, SwapDrive, Syndio, Trialjectory and Voxy.

 

Prior to launching Contour in 2006, Bob was one of the three managing partners of Flatiron Partners in New York City. The firm backed more than 50 companies with over $500 million of venture capital. Bob received a BS from the Wharton School of Business and an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management.

Dave Lissy is chairman of Bright Horizons Family Solutions (a publicly traded global provider of high-quality child care, and workplace employee services), where he was chief executive officer for 17 years growing the company to $2b in revenue and $8b in market value.

 

Dave is also chairman of the board at Redfin (publicly traded technology-powered residential real estate company), director of Jumpstart and chair of the board of trustees of Ithaca College, where he received his bachelor’s degree.

Sanders "Sandy" Pitman is Executive Chairman at Scripta Insights, an Eastside portfolio company. He joins Scripta with more than 35 years in the healthcare IT space as an experienced CEO, operator and investor. 

 

Sandy is also a Venture Partner at Eastside Partners where he has been a limited partner in each Eastside fund and its predecessor funds (SETFUND) since 1998. He co-invests in portfolio companies, provides board member services and strategic guidance, and conducts day-to-day management as needed.

Sandy has served as President at ProctorU, an online proctoring service for academic exams and professional certifications; President at HYGIA Health Services, a re-processor of certain single-use, non-invasive medical devices; and CEO at SuccessEHS, a vendor providing Electronic Health Record (EHR) and Practice Management solutions with Integrated Medical Billing Services. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Alabama.

Satish Tadikonda is a Senior Lecturer in the Entrepreneurial Management Unit at Harvard Business School and a serial entrepreneur in the life sciences and healthcare sectors. His main interests lie in Healthcare IT and at the intersection of drug, medical device and diagnostics development, and software systems development, primarily for accelerating clinical trials and regulatory approvals.

 

Satish’s current venture, Trove Health, focuses on building technology for the engagement and retention of patients in clinical trials. Prior to Trove Health, he founded a number of companies in the life sciences software space.

 

Satish currently serves on the Board of Directors of Scripta Insights, ConnectM Technologies, Gradient Health and Gateway for Cancer Research. He is also an Executive Advisor to Blue Cloud Ventures and an Advisor to Two Lantern Ventures.

Satish is a very active early-stage investor as a member of TiE Angels and member and co-founder of TiE ScaleUp, an accelerator focused on scaling seed and Series A companies. He was also an active participant in helping develop drug and medical device industry standards, and has published several articles in peer-reviewed journals on various medical imaging technology topics.

​

Satish holds a Doctorate in Electrical and Computer Engineering, with a focus on medical imaging, from the University of Iowa, and a Bachelor’s in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science (Pilani).

Russ Wilcox is a partner at Pillar VC, where he backs early stage Boston companies in technology and science fields such as AI applications, digital health, connected devices, quantum computing, blockchain, 3D software, AgTech, robotics, and synthetic biology. Previously, he co-founded E Ink Corporation to commercialize electronic paper invented at MIT and built a global materials and manufacturing business that sold for half a billion dollars.

 

Russ graduated with honors in Applied Mathematics from Harvard College and was a Baker Scholar at the Harvard Business School. He holds thirty-five issued U.S. patents. He is an Ernst & Young New England Entrepreneur of the Year and a Mass High Tech All-Star.

Sharon Cunninghis is Chief Development Officer at Lane Health, a new disrupter focused on improving health by eliminating financial barriers to care that often lead to negative outcomes.

 

Her role includes development of strategies and plans for acquiring new customers, and she is involved in business strategy, operations, member services and sales. Prior to joining Lane Health, she spent most of her career at Mercer, a leading human resources consulting firm, where she was most recently the US Health Leader, and led the development of Mercer Marketplace 365 beforehand.

 

She holds a B.S. in Economics from The Wharton School at University of Pennsylvania, where she graduated Cum Laude. She is an Associate of the Society of Actuaries and was named a Top 25 Consultant by Consulting Magazine in 2013.

Joe O’Connor is a healthcare entrepreneur and executive with more than 25 years of experience in leadership roles for organizations focused on improving the quality and affordability of healthcare. 

​

Joe most recently served as Chief Product Officer at Apervita following its acquisition of Qcentive where he was EVP, Product and Strategy. Prior to Apervita, he was a co-founder of Remedy Partners. He also founded and served as CEO of Integrated Healthcare Information Services, Inc, which sold to Ingenix, Inc. (Optum), where he continued in an operational role.

 

Joe began his career as an auditor and information systems consultant at a national public accounting firm. He holds an M.S. in Computer Information Systems from Bentley University and an M.S. in Evaluative Clinical Sciences from Dartmouth Medical School.
